History can be studied further at university, and then almost any career is available. It is accepted by almost all disciplines as a good A Level course, for its training in reading, writing, analysis and evaluation.

Unit 2: Non British Period Study Democracy & Dictatorship in Germany 1919-1963
Unit 3: Thematic study and Historical interpretations Rebellion and Disorder under the Tudors - 1485-1603
Unit 4: Topic based essay

How and When is it Assessed?

There will be 2 external exams, plus 1 topic based essay which is internally assessed.
Unit 1: worth 25%
Unit 2: worth 15%
Unit 3: worth 40%
Unit 4: worth 20%
